All by myself from Richard Dunn on Vimeo.

Most people who find themselves with a lot of time to kill at an airport would likely spend the time watching a movie, reading a book, sleeping or playing games on their phone. Not Richard Dunn, who recently spent a night by himself at Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport after being voluntarily bumped from two Delta flights.  With his flight leaving at 6 am, Dunn decided to get creative with his time. He waited until the airport cleared out then set about making a video of himself lip syncing to Celine Dion’s cover of Eric Carmen’s song, “All By Myself.”

Dunn, who is originally from Moncton, now works as a lighting designer for corporate entertainment. He shot the video with his iPhone and used his luggage, escalators and electric walkways to help film his video. Once it was shot, Dunn then edited it using Final Cut Pro and uploaded to Vimeo. The video has had over 7 million plays thus far.

Kudos to Dunn for his creativity and effort. Had it been me, I probably would’ve spent the time working on my Threes score.
